Raw Cut, the specialist factual independent TV production company behind dynamic and compelling series such as Police Interceptors and Road Wars, has appointed the MediaCityUK based Rule 5 to handle a new PR brief. “Rule 5 will be working with us on a PR strategy that focuses not just on Raw Cut as a company but some of our latest output” said Company Director Steve Warr. “The brief has an international dimension as we are increasingly looking beyond the UK to market our programmes”.
Rule 5 launched last November. It has in a short space of time, established a reputation in the sporting world for its work with British Cycling. However this is a return to his roots for Rule 5 Managing Partner Rob Brown, who has previously worked extensively with media companies including ITV, Channel Four and Endemol. “We don’t specialise” he said “but we are establishing a portfolio in culture, media and sport”.
Raw Cut is known for combining creative invention with rigorous storytelling, journalistic integrity and developing new ways of making television. Rule 5 will be helping the Soho based TV company promote genuinely ground-breaking programming.
